CARDI 2009 Annual Open Day held

Farmers, Ministry of Agriculture officials and representatives of other public sector agencies, members of the private sector, students and the general public in several countries across the Caribbean region, had the opportunity to view ongoing research and development initiatives at their local office.

Field tours, presentations and discussions were among the activities which featured at the recently concluded CARDI Annual Open Day event held in December 2009.  New technologies developed or adapted by CARDI to boost agricultural production were on display.  Demonstrations and publications were also among the highlights.
