CTA and CARDI Sign MOU to Improve Food Security, Research and Development in the Caribbean

[CWA 2012St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, 20 October 2012] – The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Co-operation (CTA) and Caribbean Agricultural Research Development Institute (CARDI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), 19 October 2012, during the 11th Caribbean Week of Agriculture held in Antigua. Mr Michael Hailu, CTA Director signed on behalf of CTA, while Dr Arlington Chesney signed on behalf of CARDI. The two organizations will, over the next three years, collaborate on initiatives and activities to benefit agricultural and rural development in the Caribbean.
