The Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), an autonomous Institute funded by member countries of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), invites applications for the position of Senior Accountant at its Headquarters in Trinidad.

The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of Management Accounts, Project Accounts (primarily Externally Funded) and the Annual Audited Institutional Accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
At least an ACCA qualification or equivalent.  Ten years working experience (preferably in the Private Sector) and must hold membership in a local accounting professional association.  Must have knowledge and operation of appropriate software for Financial Management and Information Systems.  Familiarity with a hub and spoke institutional arrangement. Leadership skills.
