Empowering the Next Generation of Farmers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

On Friday, May 22nd, 2026, the Tourama Government School hosted an exciting Career Day and Profession Switch Day, where teachers and students dressed up to explore a world of future possibilities.

To kick off the day’s activities, CARDI SVG Representative and Agronomist, Mr. Donawa Jackson, delivered a stimulating and practical presentation, educating students on the diverse, modern career opportunities waiting for them in agriculture!

This presentation is part of an ongoing, enriching partnership between CARDI and the Tourama Government School. Mr. Jackson and his team regularly provide technical assistance and seedlings to the school, helping students grow fresh vegetables that directly supplement their school meals.
