Regional Knowledge Sharing: CARDI Country Representatives Present Latest Findings

A key highlight of our recent symposium was the dedicated presentation session from our various Country Representatives. Coming from across our 14 Member States, these scientists shared the specific, high-impact work they have been spearheading on the ground in their respective countries.

Though it was a comprehensive and extensive session, it proved to be extremely informative for the entire contingent. The discussions focused sharply on:
Agronomic Improvements: Enhancing existing farming practices to boost efficiency, lower production costs, and combat climate challenges unique to each territory.

New Crop Research: Evaluating climate-resilient and economically viable new crop varieties to support regional diversification and import displacement.

This internal exchange of data and experiences is vital for cross-regional learning, ensuring that a success in one Caribbean country can be adapted to benefit farmers in another.
