Rewarding youth excellence in agriculture

CARDI was incredibly proud to support the next generation of agricultural leaders at the recent Awards and Recognition Ceremony for the Class of 2026 at the Eastern Caribbean Institute of Agriculture and Forestry (ECIAF), University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT).

A huge congratulations to the outstanding individuals who took home the CARDI-sponsored awards on May 15th:

• Special Award for Crop Practical: Mr. Isaac Greenidge
• Special Award for Livestock Practical: Mr. Donte Bastaldo
• Special Award – Best Practical Skills in Crop Production: Mr. Jadon Ramlogan
• Special Award – Best Practical Skills in Livestock Production: Mr. Jadon Ramlogan

CARDI Executive Director, Ansari Hosein, was on hand to personally present these awards and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and practical skills of these brilliant young minds.

The future of Caribbean agriculture is bright. We congratulate all the awardees and wish them continued, blooming success in their journeys ahead.
